RWI, in addition to performing
specific research requests, providing PSC Session Coverage, publishing the RWI Weekly Update, and performing Tariff
Monitoring, provides a variety of other services upon request, including:
- Coverage of New York State Legislative hearings
- Coverage of Public Service Commission meetings open to the public
- Coverage of oral arguments before the New York State courts located in Albany
- Obtain corporate filings from the New York State Department of State
- Research at the New York State Archives and Library; including procurement of electric and gas franchise agreements and legislative bill jackets
- Preparation and filing of Freedom of Information Law requests
- Research at the New York State Board of Elections
- Research at the Court of Appeals, Appellate Division Third Department, New York State Supreme Court (Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Washington and Warren Counties)
- Deed research at the Albany County Clerk's Office
